About the Scottish Poverty Information Unit
SPIU undertakes nine main activities as it seeks to communicate, educate and generate an understanding of poverty in Scotland.
The SPIU website provides comprehensive information on our research, consultancy and evaluation work. Our publications are available to download from our Poverty Information pages and from this year we will make available our conference presentations. Sharing knowledge through conference presentations:

Contributing to public debate:
- SPIU co-convened a conference on Banking and Financial Inclusion in January 2008.
