Dr McKendrick will present a paper to the International Conference on Well Being and Place at the University of Durham. The paper will be based on on-going research funded by the Carnegie Trust for Universities in Scotland. The paper appraises the way in which the childhood environments of professional football players are portrayed in their autobiographies.
