SPIU Reports
The Scottish Poverty Information Unit plays a key role in analysing poverty and anti-poverty policy in Scotland. Research is carried out in partnership with both governmental and non-governmental agencies in order to provide accurate, up-to-date information for those working in the anti-poverty field.
Our research is funded by a wide range of organisations across national government, local government, health sector, Third Sector, and charitable organisations.
SPIU Reports are occasional publications in the form of full length analyses of research and consultancy work. SPIU launched a new house style for SPIU Reports in January 2009. Many earlier Reports are much longer in length. On these pages, reports are organised by thematic priority. Reports can be downloaded free of charge; we also provide weblinks to SPIU Reports published by funders.
Next Report
The next SPIU report due for publication is a knowledge exchange and action research report on financial inclusion in the UK commissioned by the Friends Provident Foundation. This report is due to be published in the autumn of 2009.
